Temple Women’s Rowing 2nd Varsity 8 Named AAC Boat of the Week

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple Women's Rowing 2nd Varsity 8 boat earned American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week for its performance at the Kerr Cup, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Temple 2V8 defended home turf on the Schuylkill River at the Kerr Cup (4/20) in Philadelphia. The Owls took first place in the grand final with a time of 6:59.5, defeating Drexel, La Salle, Fairfield, Old Dominion, and Monmouth. The victory in the Kerr Cup by the Temple 2V8 is the first since 2016.
