Golf to Compete in Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Temple Men's Golf team will head back up north to participate in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The 14-team event is being held at the Springdale Golf Club on a par-71, 6,444-yard course. The tournament consists of 54 holes over a two-day period. Previous to their two-and-a-half-week break, the Owls placed in fourth place in the ECU Intercollegiate.

The Owls will tee off Saturday, April 6th at 8 a.m. and play two rounds. They will wrap up the tournament on Sunday for the final 18 holes.

- Graham Chase is coming off of his impressive t-3rd place finish at the ECU Intercollegiate, where he shot an even-par 72 in all three rounds. That was his first top-five finish of the season. Chase, who has competed in all 26 rounds, leads the Owls in scoring average with his teammate Aidan Emmerich, with an average of 72.8.
- Ethan Whitney notched his fourth top-20 finish of the season in the previous tournament, placing t-16thoverall with a score of seven-over. He also shot his season low of 69 in round two of the ECU Intercollegiate. Whitney's four top-20 finishes and 73.9 scoring average are both the second best on the team.
- Michael Walsh has played in all 26 rounds the Owls have competed in this year. His 73.9 scoring average is the third best on the team.
The Field
- The field will consist of 14 teams including Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn, Harvard, Rider, Seton Hall, Georgetown, Howard, St. Joseph's, Columbia, and Yale.
- The Owls placed 11th out of 14 teams in last year's Princeton Invitational.
