SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Temple Women's Track & Field concluded the American Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio, Texas with a standout performance in triple jump on Day 3.
The Owls finished with 13 points, placing 13th in the team standings.

Obiamaka Igwenagu was the highlight, earning a bronze medal in the triple jump with a substantial personal record. The Owls saw two athletes score points for the Cherry & White on Day 3.
How It Happened
> Igwenagu led the way in the triple jump, leaping 12.83 meters (42-05.25) to place third overall and earn a podium finish. Inara Shell jumped 12.28 meters (40-03.5) to place 11th.
> In the high jump, Amira Green placed fifth with a new personal-record height of 1.76 meters (5-09.25). Nicole Castor placed 11th, jumping 1.63 meters (5-04.25).
