Field Hockey Preps for Pair of Home Games This Week

PHILADELPHIA – Coming off a shutout win against La Salle on Sunday, the Temple field hockey team prepares for a pair of home games this week, facing Old Dominion and Monmouth.

Scouting Temple

Devin Kinzel scored a pair of goals against the Explorers. They were her team-leading fourth and fifth goals of the season.
Catherine Arentz and Mathea Lassalle both scored against La Salle.
Bella Ospitale made eight saves and had a .800 save percentage during the week. She recorded her first career shutout against the Explorers and was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Temple is 2-0 at home this season and has outscored opponents 11-0 at Howarth Field.

Scouting Old Dominion

The Monarchs are 5-2 on the season with a 1-0 record in the BIG EAST. They are coming off a 3-2 win against No. 11 Liberty on Friday.
Tess Jedeloo leads the BIG EAST with 1.00 goals per game this season.
Frederique Zandenberg tops the conference with six assists on the season. She has 44 helpers in her career.
Andrew Griffiths is in his 12th season at Old Dominion with a record of 125-81 with the Monarchs. He has a mark of 197-127 in 18 seasons overall as a collegiate head coach.
