AAC Announces Conference Schedule for Men's Basketball

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced its men's basketball schedule for the 2024-25 season. Each team plays 18 games, nine apiece at home and on the road.
Temple starts its AAC schedule at the Liacouras Center on Friday, January 3 when it hosts Wichita State. The Owls then head on the road for games at East Carolina on January 8 and Rice on January 11 before returning home to face Memphis (January 16) and Tulane (January 19).
TU makes its Texas two-game trip on January 22 and 25 when it plays at North Texas and UTSA respectively. The Cherry and White topped the Roadrunners three times last season, including in the first round of the AAC Championship, propelling the run to the finals.
The season's first month closes and February begins in Philadelphia with a game against Charlotte on January 29, followed by East Carolina on February 1. Temple makes the trip to South Florida on February 6 before going to Memphis on February 9. Tulsa and Florida Atlantic visit the Liacouras Center on February 12 and 16, respectively.
The Owls make their final two-game road trip of the season on February 19 at Charlotte and February 23 at UAB, prior to alternating home and road games to end the season. Defending AAC regular season champion South Florida comes to Philadelphia on February 26 and North Texas closes the slate on March 9, sandwiched around a road contest at Tulsa on March 4.
The AAC tournament will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 12-16. Last season the Owls became the first team in the American Athletic Conference and just the third team in NCAA Division I history to play five games in five days in its conference tournament.
