• After a 75-69 victory over FAU, Temple will look to face Tulsa in the Liacouras Center.

• Temple allowed 64 rebounds, the most rebounds, the Owls have allowed all season. Temple hasn't given up 60 rebounds since 2021, when Houston had 61 rebounds.

• Against FAU, Kaylah Turner had a career-high 25 points, shooting 8-14 from the field and 5-8 from three, playing 31 minutes.

• FAU had 12 turnovers in the first half, which is the seventh game in a row Temple has forced double-digit turnovers in the first half.

• Temple had 21 bench points to FAU's three after 30 minutes of play.

• Temple is 6-0 following a loss this season which the Owls have not lost back-to-back games this season.

• Following the Tulsa game, the Owls get a week off and will be back at the Liacouras Center to take on Charlotte on January 18.

Scouting the Hurricanes

• Tulsa is coming off a 76-70 victory over Charlotte at home on Wednesday.

Delaine Crawford (18.1 points) and Elise Hill (10.9 points) are the two leading scorers for Tulsa.

• Against Charlotte, Tulsa had four players that hit the double-digit scoring mark: Mady Cartwright (21 points), Hadley Periman (16 points), Delanie Crawford (14 points), and Elise Hill (10 points).

• Tulsa outrebounded Charlotte 51-38 on Wednesday night. The Hurricanes shot 40.1% from the field, going 25-61 from the floor, and Tulsa also shot 41.4% from behind the arc, hitting 12-29 shots.

• In the conference play, Delanie Crawford (20.5 points), Elise Hill (13.8 points), Mady Cartwright (12 points), and Hadley Periman (10.5 points) are averaging double-digit points.

• In the 2023-24 season, Tulsa finished with a record of 25-10 and a 13-5 record in conference play. The Hurricanes accepted an invitation to the WBIT, where they lost to Illinois 61-69 in the quarterfinals.

In the AAC

• The Owls lead the American Athletic Conference in turnover margin, rank second in steals, and hold the fourth spot in free throw percentage.

Tiarra East is seventh in scoring, averaging 15 points per game, and ranks eighth in free throw percentage at 69.8%. She has recorded five games with over 20 points.

Tristen Taylor ranks seventh in assists, with an average of three per game. She also sits third in the assist-to-turnover ratio and plays a key role in Temple's ability to force turnovers, helping the team create double-digit turnovers in the first half.

Anissa Rivera is eighth in steals, coming off a three-steal performance against East Carolina, and averages one steal per game. Additionally, she ranks fifth in blocks, with an average of one block per game.

Key part of Success

Kaylah Turner has been a key part of the Owls' success this season. Tuner has had four games where she hit the double-digit mark in points.

• Turner dropped a career-high 25 points against FAU. The Owls are 3-1 on the season when Turner has hit the double-digit mark in points. Tuner is one of the bench players to have actually scored in double figures off the bench for the Owls.
