Following a 67-70 loss to North Texas on Wednesday, the Owls will look to regroup against UTSA.
Against North Texas, Tarriyonna Gary (10 points) and Anissa Rivera (11 points) combined for 21 points in the first half. Gary went 4-4 from the floor, Rivera went 4-5 from the floor, and 3-4 from three.
Gary (13 points), Rivera (16 points), and Taylor (14 points) were the leading scorers for the Owls against North Texas.
Temple was outrebounded 36-43 by North Texas.
North Texas outscored the Owls 26-42 in the second half. In the third quarter, the Owls shot 6-17 from the field, shooting just 35%, while UNT went 8-15 from the floor, shooting 53%.In the fourth quarter, Temple shot 4-16, with a field goal percentage of 25%, while UNT shot 8-13, with a field goal percentage of 61%.
