Pisarski Goes Low on Day One of Elon Phoenix Invitational

BURLINGTON, N.C. - Freshman Nicholas Pisarski shot a career-best, three-under par round of 68 as the Temple men's golf team completed the first day of the Elon Phoenix Invitational on Monday.

- Pisarski carded five birdies and two bogeys en route to his top round this season, including a run of three straight birdies on holes 4-6.
- Over two rounds, Pisarski totaled a team-high eight birdies and tied for 25th overall.
- Sophomore Mason Tomé finished up his 36 holes strong, posting a one-over par 72 on his second round of the day for a three stroke improvement from his first round.
- UNC Wilmington leads the tournament by three strokes over host Elon.
- The third and final round of the Elon Phoenix Invitational will take place on Tuesday, October 14, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
