Temple Cross Country Hits the Road for the Princeton Fall Classic

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple cross country team will have its final regular-season meet on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Princeton Fall Classic hosted by Princeton University. The women's race will start at 10:30 A.M and the men's will be at 11:15 A.M.
Previewing the Owls
- The last time the men raced at this event was in 2021, when they placed fifth out of 21 schools.
- The men are looking to bounce back from their last result at the Paul Short Run, in which they placed 32nd out of 40 schools.
- The women have also not competed in this event since placing 10th out of 21 schools back in 2021.
- The women are looking to utilize the bye week and improve on their previous two results.
- There will be seven women and eight men representing the Owls at the meet.

- There will be 25 other schools racing alongside the Temple women's team at the Princeton Fall Classic.
- 18 of them are ranked, and only Penn State is ranked in the top 30 of the Coaches' Poll.
- There will be 302 athletes competing in the women's 6K event.
- On the men's side, including Temple, a total of 31 schools will compete on Friday morning.
- 21 of the 31 schools are ranked, and three (Syracuse, Princeton, and Boise State) are listed in the top 30 of the Coaches' Poll.
- There will be a total of 374 runners in the men's 8K.
Next up for the Owls is the American Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1, located in Concord, N.C.
