Temple Shows Heart at Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Temple men's and women's cross country ran this morning in the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.Â
The men's team placed 32nd out of 40 schools in the Men's College Gold 8K race. They finished with a total of 910 points. The top runner for the Owls was graduate Graham Thomas, coming in 130th out of 344 runners. Georgetown won the overall meet for the men with a total of 102 points after having their top-five runners finish 60th or better.
On the women's side, freshman Rose Tuomisto led all Owls, coming in 252nd out of 338 athletes. Villanova placed first in the women's 6K with a total of 110 points as they had three athletes in the top 10. Temple placed last out of the field of 40 schools after combining for 1266 points in the Women's College Gold 6K race.
