  • Temple fell to WVU, 89–61, on Tuesday night in Morgantown.
  • Kaylah Turner led the Owls in scoring with a season-high 23 points. Savannah Curry and Tristen Taylor were the only other players to reach double figures, each recording 11.
  • Turner has scored in double figures for three straight games and is averaging 16.3 points per game so far this season.
  • Tristen Taylor is shooting 91% from the free-throw line through three games, going 20-for-22.

Scouting the Explorers
  • La Salle finished 13th in the A-10 last season with a record of 10–23, including 3–15 in conference play.
  • They are projected to finish 12th this season according to the A-10 Preseason Poll.
  • Sophomore guard Joan Quinn was named to the Preseason All-Conference Third Team.
  • The Explorers are coming off a win over Lehigh, 81–70. They had three players score 20+ points: Aryss Macktoon (24), Ashleigh Connor (22), and Joan Quinn (20).
  • La Salle is 3–0 to start the season for the first time since 2006–07, when they finished 19–11 overall.

Grabbing Boards
  • In the last three games, Temple has totaled more than 30 rebounds in each contest. The Owls have also grabbed double-digit offensive rebounds in all three games.
  • Saniyah Craig had eight rebounds against WVU, 15 against George Mason, and 12 against George Washington.
  • Craig has been the leading rebounder for the Owls in every game so far this season.

Under New Leadership
  • Jaleesa Molina, Tristen Taylor, and Kaylah Turner have been named team captains this year.
  • Taylor and Molina are the only returning starters from the 2024–25 team.
  • Taylor averaged 6.7 points and a team-high 3.6 assists per game last season.
  • Molina averaged 7.4 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 52.5% from the field.
