Coach Salmon said of the matches: Wellesley is a very strong team with excellent fencers in all their squads. Wheaton is a new program and still building their roster; we look forward to seeing that program grow. I expected Boston College to be a tight match, and it didn't disappoint. A touch here and there kept us from bringing home the win this time but, so early in the season, it still provided us with lessons we will take back to our training in the coming weeks.

The Owls will return to the strips on December 6 for the Sacred Heart Invitational in Fairfield, CT.
