Temple looks to continue its undefeated run at the Liacouas Center on Wednesday evening against American Athletic Conference foe Tulsa.
The Owls are coming off a 90-82 loss at No. 17 Memphis, taking the nationally ranked Tigers to the wire despite missing leading scorer Jamal Mashburn Jr. for the second consecutive game.
Freshman Aidan Tobiason led the Owls in scoring, matching his career-high of 18 points. The former Delaware State Player of the Year did not miss a single shot—knocking down 4-of-4 field goal attempts, 3-of-3 from long distance, and 7-of-7 from the line.
Along with Tobiason, five Owls reached double figures in scoring, with Steve Settle (17), Quante Berry (16), Shane Deozine (13), and Elijah Gray (10) contributing 10-plus points in the balanced offensive effort.
The Owls continue to excel from the free-throw line, sinking 17-of-19 attempts against Memphis. Temple ranks fourth nationally in free throws made per game (19.5) and seventh in attempts (26.5). The squad leads the AAC in both categories.
Temple and Tulsa square off for the first time since March 2, 2024, with the Golden Hurricane earning a 72-67 victory in Philadelphia.
