Opening Tip
After a 63-53 victory against UAB on Tuesday, Temple heads to New Orleans to face Tulane.
News & Notes
• Following a season sweep over UAB with a 63-53 victory, the Owls look to split the series against Tulane.
• Jaleesa Molina tied a career-high 17 points, adding her fifth double-double this season.
• Tarriyonna Gary was one point and rebound shy of a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
• Gary has made a three-pointer in 12 straight games dating back to ECU.
• Tiarra East scored 13 points and six rebounds against UAB. East has scored double figures in back-to-back games since December, where she had 21 points against UAB and 11 points against ECU.
• The Owls against UAB had a 12+ rebound advantage on Wednesday. Temple outrebounded the Blazers 48-36.
• After the Tulane game, Temple heads back to Philadelphia to face Witchita State.
Scouting the Green Wave
• Tulane is coming off a 64-69 loss to North Texas on Sunday afternoon in Denton, Texas.
• Before the loss to North Texas, the Green Wave had four straight dating back to January 25 when Tulane defeated the Owls in Philadelphia.
• During the four-game win streak, Tulane defeated Temple, FAU, UAB, and Rice.
• Kendall Sneed (16 points) and Sherese Pittman (15 points) both scored in double figures for Tulane against North Texas. Pittman secured a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebound performance.
• Amira Mabry finished the game against North Texas, with 12 rebounds, and was three points away from a double-double with 7 points.
• Tulane sits in the fourth spot in the AAC standings with five games remaining on their schedule.
