Rapacz '17, First Owl Alum to Play in Pro Volleyball Federation

PHILADELPHIA – Izabella Rapacz, a member of Temple Volleyball team from 2014-2017, has signed with the Columbus Fury of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF). Rapacz is the first Owl to sign with any PVF organization, and the sixth to play professionally.
The PVF started in 2024 and attracts the sport's top talent. Some of the world's best coaches and players have joined the PVF to play in major league arenas across North America. The Federation is comprised of eight teams: Atlanta Vibe, Columbus Fury, Grand Rapids Rise, Indy Ignite, Omaha Supernovas, Orlando Valkyries, San Diego Mojo, and Vegas Thrill.
Rapacz spent four seasons donning the Cherry and White as an opposite hitter, and after that spent six years playing overseas in Poland, Germany, and China. The Illinois native had an illustrious career with the Owls, as her name is scattered through the record books.
In her senior season, Rapacz finished as the top single-season block assister with 115 in 2017. She also finished 2017 ranking third all-time in single-season total blocks (122).
