- After a 61-70 loss to UTSA on Saturday in San Antonio, Temple is back in Liacouras to take on Memphis.
- The Owls went 3-15 from the field in the fourth quarter. UTSA outscored Temple 28-10 in the fourth quarter.
- In the second half, Temple was outscored 25-46 by UTSA. The Owls shot 10-31 from the floor while going 3-11 in the second from three.
- Tiarra East had 18 points, shooting 7-13 from the field, scoring 9 points in the third quarter, and went 4-6 from the field.

Scouting the Tigers
- In their most recent game, the Tigers scored 21 points in the third quarter to secure a 75-69 win over East Carolina in Memphis on Saturday afternoon. Memphis now sits at 3-6 in conference play, with victories over Tulane, Wichita State, and East Carolina.
- Before Saturday's win, the Tigers ended a three-game home losing streak. They're currently struggling on the road with a 1-8 record away from Elma Roane Fieldhouse.

- Known for their speed, Memphis leads the American Conference with an average of 72.8 possessions per game. Alasia Smith is dominating in the paint, leading the conference with seven double-doubles and averaging 12 rebounds per game.

- Â Fifth-year Tarriyonna Gary, nicknamed "T-Mac," has been a sharpshooter from the moment she stepped foot on campus just over two years ago.
- Gary is now second on the all-time three-point made list for Temple, with 172 three-pointers made. She also ranks 4th in Temple's school history with a 37.0% three-point shooting percentage.
- Gary is shooting 36% from behind the arc and is second on the team in three-point percentage.
