3.11.25 | Women's Fencing
PHILADELPHIA – Senior Anna Novoseltseva has earned a spot in the 2025 National Collegiate Women's Fencing Championships, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday. The championships will be held at Penn State University, with the women's foil competition set for Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23.
This marks Novoseltseva's fourth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships, placing her in elite company. Only seven other fencers in Temple history have accomplished this feat. They are; Muna Bitar, Gina Deleso, Sara Forsythe, Lisa Honig, Melissa Parker, Jenna Remmert, and Kamali Thompson.
Novoseltseva delivered an outstanding season on the strip, finishing with a 53-14 record in regular-season competition. She claimed first place in the individual foil event at the NIWFA Championships and posted a 15-4 record en route to a third-place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional. Novoseltseva will be looking to build on her 15th place finish at last year's NCAA's, where she won 11 of 23 bouts.
