Men's Golf to Compete at Cutter Creek Intercollegiate

SNOW HILL, N.C. - The Temple men's golf team returns to North Carolina for the final time in 2024-25 for the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event begins Friday at 8:00 a.m. ET.

- Temple put together its best performance of the spring season in its last trip down to North Carolina for the ECU Intercollegiate.
- The Owls finished fourth out of 16 teams competing, closing with a 296 on the final day of the tournament to vault ahead of four teams.
- Senior Jake Naese and junior Aidan Emmerich tied for eighth place individually, with Naese recording rounds of 69 and 70 over the course of the 54-hole event.
- Emmerich carded rounds of 73-73-72 to earn a top 10 finish for the first time this season and pick up his fifth top-20 over the fall and spring campaigns.
- On the season, senior Ethan Whitney (73.5) and Emmerich (73.8) pace the squad in scoring average with each having played 22 rounds of golf.
- Temple and 13 other teams are scheduled to compete in this event, including host East Carolina, Gardner-Webb, Charleston Southern, Francis Marion, North Carolina A&T, Old Dominion, Presbyterian, Radford, Harvard, Winthrop, Robert Morris, Campbell and Sandhills C.C.
