Second Round of Cutter Creek Intercollegiate Complete for Men's Golf

SNOW HILL, N.C. - The Temple University men's golf team completed the second day of the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate on Saturday. The Owls stand in the middle of the pack in a tie for sixth place as team heading into the final round of competition Sunday.

- After a solid opening round of one-under par 287, Temple had trouble finding its rhythm on day two of the event.
- The Owls fell back one spot as a team, and are tied with Radford in sixth place out of 14 teams in the field.
- Junior Aidan Emmerich led the way for the team individually, registering a team-best, two-over par 74.
- Emmerich stands in the top 20 individually heading into Sunday's final 18, and carded 13 straight pars to close his round.
- Senior Jake Naese is just outside the top 20 and two strokes behind his teammate after a second-round 76.
- Senior Ethan Whitney, who entered Saturday in a tie for second place, is tied for 19th at one-over par for the tournament.
- Campbell is leading the team portion of the competition over East Carolina, with Harvard in third place.
- The third and final day of the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate will tee off on Sunday, March 30, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
