Women's Tennis on the Road to Face Yale

BRONX, NY – This Saturday, Mar. 8, women's tennis will be on the road for a match against Yale University. The team will face Yale in Bronx, NY, at 2:45 PM.

SCOUTING TEMPLE

Despite tough losses, Temple showed determination in singles, with Irmak Ozturk pushing the Princeton's No. 61 Maryia Hrynashka to a challenging unfinished match and Aditi Vaidya forcing a tiebreaker against Princeton's Tsehay Driscoll.
Temple's doubles teams demonstrated strong moments, including a competitive match from Marianthi Christoforidou and Thamara Kawaratani, who led 4-3 before their match went unfinished against Princeton.
Temple players like Thamara Kawaratani fought hard to force a third set in her singles match, showing the team's ability to battle back in tough situations.

SCOUTING YALE

Yale women's tennis secured a 5-2 win over FGCU, bouncing back after losing the doubles point. The Bulldogs dominated in singles, with victories from Orly Ogilvy (No. 1), Shyla Aggarwal (No. 2), Julia Werdiger (No. 4), Erin Ha (No. 5), and Angela Huang (No. 6). Ogilvy and Aggarwal won in straight sets. At the same time, Werdiger and Huang triumphed in three-set battles. The only loss came from a close match between FGCU's Kotecha and Yale's Brettkelly. Despite the early doubles setback, Yale showed resilience and strength in singles play.
