Men's Golf Returns to Action at Princeton Invitational This Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. - After a two-week layoff, the Temple University men's golf team returns to the links for the Princeton Invitational, starting Saturday, April 12. The two-day, 54-hole event is the final tuneup for the Owls prior to the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship which is scheduled to be played April 21-23.

- Temple finished in a tie for seventh place as a team out of 14 entrants at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate, hosted by Elon and East Carolina.
- Senior Ethan Whitney had an impressive opening round and was tied for seventh after 18 holes at three-under par 69.
- Whitney's classmate, Joey Morganti, found traction on the final day of competition with an identical round of 69.
- Individually, Whitney and junior Aidan Emmerich tied for 18th at two-over par 218.
- The duo rank 1-2 in scoring average this season for Temple, with Whitney at 73.5 and Emmerich at 73.7.
