Green Wins the College Section Women’s High Jump at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA- Temple women's track and field, competed at the 129th running of the Penn Relays with stand out performances. The Owls will compete in one more meet before heading to Charlotte for the AAC Outdoor Championships in two weeks.

> Amira Green won the college section of the women's high jump, clearing a season's best 1.73 meters.
> Also in the field events Inara Shell and Aliza White Vega represented the Owls in the triple jump and pole vault.
> To kick off the track competition Chloe Smith, Mariah Jameson, Allyson Metzger and Jade Pope posted a time of 1:38.79 in the 4x200 which marks number five in program history.
> The quartet of Laila Cottom, Jameson, Metzger, and Pope ran a second best 3:47.19 1600 meter relay.
