PHILADELPHIA – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Tuesday that six Temple University student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Teams.

Arwen Gormley (women's fencing), Erin King (women's lacrosse), Alizé Maes (field hockey), Tess Muller (field hockey), Lina Neilson (field hockey) and Sarah Stallings (women's gymnastics) all earned the honor.

Selected by CSC, the award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Gormley posted a 21-16 record in sabre this past season for the Owls, picking up her 100th career victory in the process. She earned All-NIWFA First Team honors, taking third place as an individual and helping Temple to a sabre team championship. A neuroscience major, Gormley finished her undergraduate degree with a 3.99 cumulative GPA. She has been named to the NIWFA All-Academic Team the past three years and has earned a spot on the Temple Trustee Ten the past two years.

King was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Second Team after registering a team-high 36 goals for the Owls in 2025. Contributing at least one goal in all but two contests, the Kennesaw, Georgia, native recorded at least two goals per game across the final 10 games of the season. She holds a 3.70 GPA as an advertising major.

Maes became the 31st Owl in program history to receive All-America honors after being named to the NFHCA Third Team in December. The BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year led Temple in points (20) and was tied for the team lead with seven goals. In the classroom, the bioengineering major recorded a 3.53 GPA. She was named Temple's Female Sport Performer of the Year this past academic year.

Muller was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team and NFHCA All-Region Second Team following her senior season as an Owl. She tallied six goals and five assists for Temple and closes her career ranked 10th all-time with 24 assists. A health professions major, Muller holds a 3.76 GPA.

Neilsen started 19 of 20 contests for the BIG EAST finalist Owls last season. She led Temple and ranked fifth in the conference in defensive saves, helping the Owls to a league-leading seven shutouts. A speech, language and hearing science major, she continues to hold a perfect 4.0 GPA entering her senior year. She was named to the Temple Trustee Ten for having one of the top GPAs in the athletic department.

Stallings, a senior gymnast from Raleigh, North Carolina, finished her final season as an Owl on a high note, both on the mat and in the classroom. A bars specialist, she holds a cumulative GPA of 3.98 while majoring in accounting. Stallings competed in 13 of 14 meets this season, leading the team on bars with seven scores of 9.800 or higher.
