Temple Challenge Cup Begins Wednesday for Men's Crew at Henley Royal Regatta

HENLEY-ON-THAMES, England - Temple University men's crew begins Temple Challenge Cup main draw racing on Wednesday, July 2, when it squares off against Durham University "A" in the opening round. Racing is scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m. ET (2:45 p.m. local time). The 32-team field is comprised of top 8+ crew from the United States, England, the Netherlands, and Australia.
The Owls' varsity eight will look to continue a successful campaign that included wins at the Dad Vail Regatta and Bergen Cup. Temple also had three boats finish in the top 20 nationally at IRA National Championships, including an 18th-place showing by the varsity eight.
