7.21.25 | Men's Soccer
PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's soccer released its highly-competitive 2025 schedule on Thursday, featuring last year's No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA College Cup Ohio State, reigning Ivy League champion Penn, defending Atlantic 10 champ Dayton, as well as two more NCAA College Cup participants in American Conference foes Missouri State and Charlotte.
The Owls begin regular season play on Thursday, August 21, when they host St. John's at the Temple Sports Complex. The Red Storm won their 16th BIG EAST regular-season title last season under long-time head coach Dr. Dave Masur. Temple remains at home a few days later to take on Delaware, before hitting the road for back-to-back games against the Flyers and Buckeyes at Ohio State's Wolstein Classic.
Non-conference action continues into September with a trip to Army on September 5, a home matchup against Lafayette on September 16, and a trip to Monmouth on September 26. The Owls will also host Penn on October 7, the final non-conference contest of the season.
AAC play gets underway on Friday, September 12, when Temple travels to face Missouri State. It will be a milestone game, as Missouri State joins the league this season and Temple will serve as their first-ever AAC opponent. The Bears went 12-4-2 a year ago, 7-0-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play, and earned an at-large bid into the NCAA College Cup.
Temple will be back in front of its home crowd on September 21 to take on FAU, before hosting Tulsa (October 12), USF (October 24), and UAB (November 2) later in the fall. On the road, the Owls will face FIU on October 3, Memphis on October 18, and Charlotte on October 29.
The top six teams who accumulate the most points during conference play will advance to the American Athletic Conference Championship, which begins on November 7 at campus locations. The final is set to take place on Saturday, November 15.
