The Owls look to extend their winning streak to four after defeating three straight Patriot League foes—Bucknell (3-1), Lafayette (1-0) and Lehigh (4-1)—since suffering their lone loss to now nationally ranked Monmouth earlier this month.
Senior Peyton Rieger recorded her first two goals of the season this past weekend, both game-winners against Lafayette and Lehigh. She is now tied for second on the team with seven points, alongside freshmen Mara Lenting (3G, 1A) and Lucia Magro (3G, 1A).
Despite not having a top-30 goal scorer or top-60 point producer nationally, Temple's offense ranks 12th in the country and is tied for the BIG EAST lead with Old Dominion. With two goals against Lehigh, Mathea Lassalle moved into a tie for second in the conference with four goals.
Goalkeeper Alex Lepore posted her first career shutout against Lafayette and did not allow a goal in three quarters of action against Lehigh. She has lowered her goals-against average to 1.68 and raised her save percentage to .680, while improving to 5-0. Lepore is one of just four goalkeepers in the nation with at least five wins and no losses.
Temple and Drexel both rank among the nation's leaders in active home regular-season winning streaks. The Owls have won 14 straight at Howarth Field dating back to 2023, a streak that trails only Northwestern (22). Temple is tied with UMass and North Carolina for the second-longest streak. Drexel owns a 2-0 mark at Buckley Field this season and closed 2024 with nine straight home wins.

Scouting Drexel
The Dragons, the preseason favorite in the CAA Coaches' Poll, enter Tuesday at 3-2 with wins over Central Michigan, Louisville and Rider.
Both Temple and Drexel have faced Central Michigan and Lafayette. Each squad defeated Central Michigan, while Temple earned a 1-0 win over Lafayette at home; Drexel dropped a 2-0 decision to the Leopards in Easton.
Drexel comes into the matchup riding back-to-back shutouts against Louisville (1-0) and Rider (5-0). The Dragons have not allowed a goal in their last 94:58 of action since conceding three first-half goals in a loss to Indiana.
Like Temple, Drexel boasts a balanced attack, with eight different players combining for nine goals. Pill Lemoine leads the way with five points on two goals and an assist.
Goalkeeper Halle Geiger owns a 3-2 record with a 1.25 goals-against average and a .545 save percentage. She leads the CAA and ranks 16th nationally in goals-against average.
Series vs. Drexel
Tuesday marks the 36th meeting between Temple and Drexel, with the Owls holding a 22-12-1 advantage in the all-time series.
The two schools, separated by less than four miles between Howarth and Buckley Field, are meeting for the first time since 2022. Temple has won four straight in the series, dating back to 2019. Each of the past five matchups has been decided by a goal or less, including a double-overtime Drexel win in 2018—the Dragons' last in the series.
