Beck and Harden Awarded EAGL Weekly Awards

PHILADELPHIA – Freshmen Ella Beck and Jade Harden have been awarded EAGL Weekly Awards after their performances against New Hampshire this past weekend. Beck was named Co-Rookie Gymnast of the Week and Harden was named Co-Rookie Specialist of the Week.
Beck finished inside the top ten on all three events she competed in this weekend. She posted a new career-high on the floor (9.750), that helped the Cherry & White achieve a season-high score of 48.975 on the event. Beck also scored a new season-high on the bars with her 9.675, good enough to put her in a tie for ninth place overall.
Harden has been a symbol of consistency since she arrived at Broad and Cecil. She broke through on vault and posted a new career-high on the event. Her 9.825 led Temple on vault in the meet and tied her for second place overall.
The Cherry & White will return to Philadelphia for a Senior Night quad meet with William & Mary, Brown, and Yale on Friday, Feb. 13. The meet will begin at 6:00 pm and will be streamed on ESPN+. Live results can be seen on owlsports.com.
