HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Temple University Men's golf team begins their spring season on Monday, Feb. 16, taking part in the two-day Wexford Intercollegiate. The 54-hole event will be hosted by Francis Marion University.

ABOUT THE OWLS

  • The Owls are scheduled to tee up at seven events this spring following participation in five events in the fall campaign.
  • Temple put together a pair of its best performances to close the spring with a fourth-place showing at the Lehigh Invitational and a tie for third at the Big 5 Championship.
  • Senior Jake Naese tied for third individually at the Big 5 event, with Mason Tomé posting a ninth-place showing.
  • At Lehigh, freshman Nicholas Pisarski put together a top-ten finish (T-8th) as the team shot 298 on the final day of competition.
  • After the tournament, the Owls are set to return to Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico on Feb. 22-24.

In addition to Temple and Francis Marion, Dayton, USC Aiken, Western Carolina, Gardner-Webb, East Carolina, Xavier, Presbyterian, High Point, College of Charleston, Mercer, Radford, Saint Joseph's, Cleveland State, Cornell, Samford, and DePaul will also participate in the event.
