Sean Cashman, who is highly involved in the New Jersey baseball community, comes to Temple University as an assistant coach from Ocean County College (NJ).
As a high school athlete, Cashman was selected to the All-County and All Conference teams as a pitcher, and received a scholarship to play baseball at St. Peters College.
After his playing days, he stayed extremely active in the game. He has experience in the front office and as an associate scout in professional baseball. In the summer, Cashman was the General Manager / Head Coach for the Toms River Blacksox of the ABCCL.
Cashman is the owner/operator of a baseball academy in Toms River, NJ. He currently resides in Toms River, where he is also on the board for Toms River East Little League.
