Second-year freshman...Temple track & field athlete that walked-on to the program this past spring...Is the school record holder in the indoor weight throw with a 55-7 toss...Finished third in the event at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Championships and was a IC4A qualifier...During the spring outdoor season, finished 6th in the shot put, 7th in the discus and 9th in the hammer throw at A-10 Championships.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Berlin (Conn.) HS...Was a high school teammate of current Owl LB Matt Powell...Was a three-year varsity football letterwinner, playing DE, LB and RB under head coach John Capidice...Had 68 tackles and eight sacks as a senior to earn all-state honors and garner selection to the R.I.-Conn. All-Star Game...A four-year varsity track & field letterwinner that earned all-state honors five times...Was twice all-state in the outdoor shot put...Also all-state in outdoor discus and indoor shot put...An All-Herald and All-Courant honoree that twice won conference championships in the shot put and was a double-event winner in the class MM shot and discus.
