Fifth-year senior...A preseason second team All-Independent choice by Phil Steele[apos]s...Dressed in No. 5 in 2005 after previously wearing No. 25...Was one of the team[apos]s two representatives (Elliot Seifert) at the MAC Media Day in Detroit in July...Is one of three, three-year letterwinners (Jamel Harris, Seifert) on the roster and one of two returning starters (DB Chris Page) on defense...Local product originally recruited as a RB and moved to SS before settling-in at LB.

2005: Played in all 11 games, making 10 starts as a fourth-year junior...Started every game except the season finale at Navy, when the Owls started five defensive linemen...Made 60 tackles (26 solo), two TFLs and one QBH...Had a career-high nine tackles versus Toledo, including a career-best seven assisted stops...Made a career-high five solo tackles at Clemson...Had TFLs at Wisconsin and Bowling Green.

2003: Played in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman... Named to The Sporting News Big East Conference All-Freshman team as a DB...Was moved to LB at the season[apos]s midpoint after beginning the year at SS...Made 16 tackles (nine solo)...Had a career-high six tackles (three solo) at Miami.

2002: Redshirted as a true freshman...Was a member of the travel squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of George Washington HS in Philadelphia... Played RB and LB under head coach Ron Cohen...A 2002 Pennsylvania [quote]Big 33[quote] Game participant...In 2001, carried 110 times for 729 yards and scored 13 TDs while making six receptions for 121 yards and two TDs...Defensively, made 40 tackles, a sack and one INT for a TD...A first team all-area selection by the Philadelphia Inquirer at LB as a senior...Also named First Team All-Public League and first team all-city by both the Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News...Named to the Northeast News-Gleaner All-Northeast Team...As a junior, carried 156 times for 804 yards and 13 TDs...Was named all-city and All-Public League by the Inquirer and Daily News in 2000...Also earned varsity letters in track & field.
