2006: Played in eight games (seven starts) as a third-year sophomore...Played versus Buffalo, Louisville, Clemson, NIU, BGSU, CMU, Penn State and Navy...Made 29 tackles (10 solo), three TFLs, two sacks, one INT, two PBUs, two QBHs and one FR...Was the coaching staff[apos]s defensive player of the game versus Louisville after making four tackles (two solo), one TFL, one QBH and a PBU...Had a season-high six total stops and an INT at UNI.

2005: Redshirted as a second-year sophomore...Played QB during spring drills before returning to the defensive line in the fall.

2004: Played in eight games as a true freshman...Played DE and on special teams...Saw action versus Virginia, Maryland, FAMU, Toledo, BGSU, WVU, Syracuse and BC...Made seven tackles (one solo)...Had a season-high four stops against BGSU.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Miami (Fla.) Southridge HS...The 2003 Dade County Player of the Year, receiving the honor at halftime of the Dade-Broward All-Star Game...Made two sacks and forced a fumble in the contest at DE despite not playing defense all season...Was a 2003 Florida Sportswriters Second Team All-State and Miami Herald First Team All-Dade County 6A-4A utility selection...Played QB and punter as a senior as team won the district title under head coach Stu Rogers...Averaged 39.8 yards per punt...Rushed 99 times for 610 yards and 10 TDs and completed 37 of 62 passes for 694 yards and six TDs...Played FB and DL as a junior...Wrestled as a sophomore and won the district championship at 215 pounds.
