Postgraduate: Played cornerback one year for coach Matt Dence at Valley Forge Military Academy.
High School: A 2010 All-State and All-Delco selection at wide receiver and defensive back for coach John Waller at Ridley HS … as a senior, had 38 receptions, 802 yards, and 10 touchdowns …as a sophomore, had 33 receptions for 778 yards and 11 touchdowns … defensively, had 66 tackles, 11 interceptions, five forced fumbles, four sacks, and two blocked punts … also returned four kickoffs for touchdowns … only sophomore nominated for All-Delco Player of the Year … led the league in receptions and interceptions as a sophomore … participated in the 2010 Chesapeake Bowl.
Personal: Born Dion Shaw on 4/15/93 … parents are Tammy Weathers and David Shaw … has five brothers-- David (29), Dawud (28), Dennis (24), Raheem (24), and Damiere (19) - and five sisters - Kaheira (34), Kamyra (32), Tamyra (30), Talaya (28), and Tamika (26) … his twin, Damiere, was also a Temple football player but injuries have derailed his on-field football career so he now assists the coaches ... criminal justice major.
