Already a familiar face to Temple men's basketball after spending the past four years as a student manager, Joe Gimbel joins the program as a graduate manager starting with the 2018-19 season. Gimbel earned his bachelor's degree in sports and recreation management from Temple in May, 2018.
In addition to his duties as student manager, Gimbel has served as an advanced statistics intern (spring of 2018) and operations intern (fall of 2018). For the past two years, Gimbel was also on the camp staff of Fran Dunphy's Basketball Camps.
Outside of Temple, Gimbel has volunteered with the Philadelphia 76ers and was part of the 50/50 Staff for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2017 season.
