Her practice reflects a whole-person approach and includes care for active individuals across the lifespan, with conditions ranging from disordered eating and amenorrhea to injury recovery and prevention. She is especially passionate about sports nutrition, functional health, and empowering individuals with sustainable strategies for wellness and performance.

Cotumaccio is an active member of the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) and the Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians and Professionals group. Outside of her dietetic career, she has a previous background as a professionally trained performing artist which was where her passion for nutrition and athletic performance began.
