Led the team with a 67 in the second round, in the GolfWeek Fall Challenge, finishing tied for 19th overall with a three-under 213 ... won his first collegiate golf tournament, shooting a five-under 135 to capture medalist honors at the Cornell/Temple Fall Invite Sunday, making 12 birdies over his 36 holes, tied career best round with a 66 on day one ... competed in all six fall tournaments with four top-25 finishes. . . Became the first Owl since 2016 to earn AAC All-Conference with a fifth place finish with a two-under, 208.
2021-22: Ranked fourth on the team with a 74.09 stroke average while playing all 34 rounds of the season…Shot a season-low 66 (-6) in the second round of the GolfWeek Challenge where he had his best three-round score of three-under 213 (74-66-73)…Finished fourth overall with a two-under 140 at the Cornell Invitational…Finished tied for 10th at the City 6…Finished tied for ninth at the Yale Spring Invitational…Posted six rounds at even or below par.
High School: Compiled a stellar career at Saint John's High School...Set a new school record for low season average as a junior while earning MVP honors at the Catholic Conference Championship, pacing the field with a 69....Also, in 2020, he won the Dale Smith Memorial Classic (73-67), and advanced to the semifinals of the Massachusetts Junior Amateur and the round of 32 at the Massachusetts Amateur Championship...Twice named to Team Massachusetts at the New England Junior Amateur Championships, Whitney was a 2019 Worcester Telegram & Gazette All-Star and runner-up for Player of the Year.
