2009-10: Finished 20th in sabre at the Temple Open…Placed 29th in sabre at the Penn State Open…Took 52nd place in sabre at the US Fencing North American Cup…Posted a record of 7-6 in sabre at the Philadelphia Invitational… Placed 32nd in Division I Women’s Sabre at the North American Cup…Competed to a 4-0 finish at Penn State Multi-Meet…Posted a record of 7-6 in sabre at the Northwestern Duals…Went 4-4 on the day in sabre at the Temple Invitational…Went undefeated in the sabre team event at the National Intercollegiate Women's Fencing Association (NIWFA) Championship…Owned 10th place in sabre at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional.
2008-09: Finished 20th at the Penn State Open and tied for fifth at the Temple Open to open up the season...Came away with winning records at the Philadelphia Invitational (7-3), Princeton (10-6), Northwestern Duals (9-6), and Steven's Tech (5-1)...Finished sixth at the NIWFA Championships to help the sabre squad, as well as the overall team, finish in first place...Was named to the all-NIWFA second-team...Compiled a record of 6-8 at the NCAA champoinships, good enough for a 18th place finish.
2007-08: 43-20 regular season record.....In postseason action, Barroso finished 15th in the NCAA Regionals while competing with the sabre squad and also helped the sabre squad capture first place at the NIWFA Championships....second place finish in the women's sabre event at the Temple Open.....recorded winning records at the Philadelphia Invitational (8-5), Princeton Invitational (5-4), Penn State Invitational (9-1), Northwestern Invitational (16-9) and Duke Multi-Meet (5-1).
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished first place in sabre 2006 Junior Pan American games... Finished first place in sabre division II North American Cup freshman year...In 2006 was ranked in the top 20 under 20.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Business.
