After a standout four-year career for Temple fencing, Alex Keft joined the staff as a volunteer assistant coach starting in the 2017-18 season.
Keft was the team's overall team captain as well as the epee squad leader in her senior year, and concluded her time as an Owl with a career record of 145-95. She was a semifinalist and placed 15th overall in her final NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional. In 2016-17, her record in dual meets was 34-21, ending with an 8-1 mark at her final Temple Invitational in helping the Owls to upsets of top-ranked Princeton and fourth-ranked Penn State. Keft was named to Temple's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for a fourth year in a row for having a GPA of 3.0 or above. She graduated in May, 2017, with a degree in kinesiology/pre-health professions.
