2009-10: Tied for third place in epee at the Temple Open…Led the team with a silver medal in epee at the Penn State Open…Took seventh place out of 128 entries in epee at the US Fencing North American Cup…Posted a record of 6-2 in epee at the Philadelphia Invitational…Placed 17th in the Division I Women’s Epee at the North American Cup… Placed 105th in Junior Women’s Epee at the North American Cup…Also took 136th place in Division I Women’s Epee at the North American Cup…Led the team in epee with a 6-3 record at the Temple Invitational…Led the team in epee finishing fifth of 32 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional…Took 11th place in epee at the NCAA Championship…Named Honorable Mention All-America for the third-straight season.
2008-09: Started the season off strong with a sixth place finish at Penn State and a first place finish at the Temple Open...Continued winning ways throughout the season at the Philadelphia Invitational (9-1), Princeton (7-5), Northwestern Duals (14-3), and an undefeated day at Steven's Tech (6-0)...Won the individual title in epee at the NIWFA Championships to lead the Owls to a first place finish in both epee and overall...As a result of her performance at the NIWFA Championship's, Howell was named first- team All-NIWFA...Appeared in the finals of the NCAA Regional Championships where she finished sixth...At the NCAA National Championships, Howell placed tenth to help the Owls to and eighth place finish.
2007-08: Finished her sophomore season with a 27-10 regular season record....In postseason action, Howell finished 9th in the NCAA Championships and was named honorable mention All-American, making her the first epee All-American in Temple history. Howell also finished second while competing at the Women’s Under 20-epee event at the US Fencing Junior Olympics....Howell began her sophomore season with a third place finish in the women’s epee event at the Temple Open....In regular season dual-meet competition, Howell recorded winning records at the Philadelphia Invitational (6-1), Penn State Invitational(3-1), Northwestern Invitational (17-4) and Duke Multi-Meet (5-4)....Honored as the Female Athlete of the Year at the annual Temple University Breakfast of Champions. 2006-07: Captured Women’s Epee Championship at Temple Open...Finished 16th of 134 competitors in the Junior Epee event at the USFA North American Cup in Albuquerque, NM...Finished eighth and 14th in the Division I Women’s Epee and Junior Women’s Epee competitions, respectively, at the USFA North American Cup in Columbus, OH...Recorded an 11-1 mark at the Philadelphia Invitational...Went 5-6 at the Penn State Invitational...Tallied a 6-1 record at the Temple Invitational...Posted a flawless 4-0 record at the Drew Invitational...Finished 11-4 at the Northwestern Invitational...Finished 11th at the NCAA Regionals...Ranked in the top 10 for Juniors...Was a finalist and won bronze in the Under-19 Summer National Championships.
