Taylor Newland competed three seasons for the Owls before moving to a student assistant coach position for the 2021-22 season.

2021: Compete in eight meets for the Owls, performing on beam five times, vault four times, and bars once... Had three scores of 9.700 or better on vault and one on beam... Tied a career high with a 9.750 on beam at Oklahoma/Denver... Set a career high of 9.750 on vault at Towson... Helped the Owls capture the 2021 EAGL Championship in an upset and earn a team bid to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in 29 years.
2020: Competed on beam and floor for the Cherry and White in her sophomore season…Set career-best of 9.75 on beam (2/23) and matched career high 9.725 on floor (1/26)…Member of floor lineup that recorded fifth-best score in program history (49.1)… Helped the Owls score the third (195.575), fifth (195.075) and sixth (195.000) highest overall team scores in program history…Named to the ECAC All-Academic team…Team named ECAC Champions for second-straight year...Season cut short due to COVID-19.
2019: Competed in all 13 meets in her freshman campaign...Set career-bests of 9.725 on beam (2/15, 3/23) and 9.725 on floor (2/22)...Part of ECAC Championships beam lineup that set new program record (49.225)...Team won program's first ECAC Championship.
