Crayton comes to Temple from Allen High School in Allen, Texas, where she compiled one of the top careers in program history. As a senior, Crayton earned AVCA All-Region honors, was named to the AVCA All-America Watch List and received First Team All-District recognition after surpassing 1,000 career kills, 1,000 digs and 100 service aces. She also helped lead Allen to the UIL 6A Allen Texas Open Championship, earning tournament MVP honors, and was named Allen High School Sportswoman of the Year.
As a junior, Crayton was named the District 6-6A Utility Player of the Year while earning First Team All-District and Dallas All-Area honors. She helped Allen advance to the Texas UIL 6A Division I State Semifinals and repeated as a UIL 6A Allen Texas Open Champion. Crayton also collected First Team All-District honors and Allen High School Offensive Player of the Year recognition as a sophomore before helping her club team win the USAV Girls Junior National Championship (13 Open) as a freshman.
