1998-99 Season:
Named to the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic All-Tournament team ... Vs. Georgetown, tied Lamont Barnes with a game-high 17 points ... Set a career-high with five three-pointers in six attempts ... Hit a running, one-handed three-pointer, banked off the glass at the buzzer to put the Owls ahead 27-20 at the half ... Against Penn State, he made a crucial steal and jumper in the lane to give Temple a 64-63 short lived lead with 28 seconds left ... Started his third career game and the first of the 1998-99 season against Indiana; scored nine points and grabbed two steals in 26 minutes ... Broke an 0 for 13 streak from three-point range against Florida State that dated back to the Indiana game by making back-to-back threes as part of Temple's 18-2 run in the first half ... Had one of his best games offensively against La Salle, drilling 4 of 7 three-pointers for 15 points ... Added two assists, three steals and had no turnovers ... Regained his outside scoring touch vs. Fordham (Jan. 9), connecting on 3 of 5 threes and helped to spark the Temple offense, including a buzzer beating three-pointer to end the first half ... Proved to be the Owls' top three-point shooter hitting 6 of 12 from beyond the arc in the Owls' three victories ... Came off the bench to scored 14 points, including 4 for 8 from three point range against Cincinnati ... After Cincinnati cut the Temple lead to six with 13 minutes remaining, Wadley hit what had to be the biggest shot of the game, a three-pointer, to put the Owls back up by nine ... Against Kent, he checked in the game at 18:10 of the second half (his first action in three games) and Temple immediately went on a 17-6 run ... Scored all of his nine points against Purdue in the second half.
1997-98 Season:
Led the newcomers with 25.4 minutes per game ... Third on the team in steals (45) and is tops in foul shooting (.810) ... Fourth on the team in scoring (8.0 ppg) ... Played in all 30 games and got his first career start vs. Massachusetts and also started vs. Virginia Tech ... Selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team ... Handed out four assists and scored 10 points in the A-10 semifinal game against George Washington ... Played 26 minutes against Massachusetts (March 1) on a sprained foot suffered the day before against Maryland; scored five points, handed out four assists and picked up two steals ... Though he had no points against GW, Wadley had a key steal at 11:35 of the second half and fed Lamont Barnes for a dunk that put Temple in front 34-29 ... Scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half against St. Joseph's (Feb. 17) to help bring the Owls back from a 27-15 halftime deficit ... Had three steals and three assists in 31 minutes with no turnovers ... Scored eight straight points helping tie the game at 32 with 8:46 to go ... Shot 7-8 from the foul line, a career best ... Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after scoring 12 points against Rhode Island (Feb. 14), all of them coming in the final six minutes of the game ... The honor also took into account his career-high 21 points vs. Virginia Tech and the Fordham (Feb. 12) game ... Chipped in seven points and three rebounds vs. UMass in his first starting assignment ... Defensively, helped hold the Minutemen to just .309 shooting and a seasonlow 47 points ... Scored 16 points vs. Xavier, shooting 4-8 from the three-point line, including a three with the shot clock running down that tied the game at 63-63 with 6:49 to go and capping a 17-5 TU run ... Hit a three in OT vs. St. Joseph's (Jan. 26) with 1:51 left to help seal the win ... Scored 10 points ... Vs. Fordham he was not supposed to play because he was resting a wrist injury suffered against Duquesne ... But he came in for the final seven minutes, making 3-4 free throws and a three at the buzzer ... Turned in one of his best games as an Owl with 11 points, four field goals and 32 minutes against Rhode Island ... Came up with a big steal vs. Wisconsin in the waning moments of the game ... Vs. Indiana when he played 26 minutes, had five steals, including a crucial pick late in the second half, grabbed six rebounds and scored seven points ... In his first collegiate game vs. Auburn he scored eight points on 3-6 shooting from the field, 2-3 from three-point range.
1996-97 Season:
Attended Temple as a true freshman ... Sat out under NCAA academic guidelines ... Participated in the 1996 Sonny Hill Summer league.
High School:
Averaged 21.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 6.0 apg his senior year at Harrisburg High Schol, where he was coached by Kirk Smallwood ... Scored 994 career points and was team captain as Harrisburg captured the Pennsylvania State District III, AAAA championship in the 1995-96 season... Named the most valuable player of the 1996 Penn District III Tournament ... A McDonald's national All-Star Game Nominee ... Named a 1995-96 All-State player by Hoop Scoop magazine and by the Mid-Atlantic Sports News ... Named to the 1995-96 Patriot-News Big 16 All-Star team and was an honorable mention selection in 1994-95 ... As a junior and a senior he was named a Mid-Penn, Division I All-Star ... Following his junior seasonhe participated in the Prep Stars All-Star Camp ... Was a Nike Invitational High School championship gold medalist with the Philadelphia Freedom following his junior year ... Led Harrisburg to the 1995 Mid-Penn Championship in his junior year ... Also played football at Harrisburg where he was a standout quarterback.
