Field Set for Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship

PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 1) -- The University of Massachusetts
will look to claim
its sixth overall and fourth straight Atlantic 10 Field Hockey
Championship, which will take place
on November 5 & 6 at St. Joseph's University. The Minutewomen, who
earned the top seed with a 5-0 record, will open play at 1:00 on Friday,
Nov. 5 against the number four seed and host, St. Joseph's.
The second semi-final
match pits second-seeded Temple, which has earned a tournament berth in
10 of the 11 Championships against third-seeded Rhode Island, who is
looking to claim its first-ever Championship Title. The finals of the
Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6
at 1:00pm.
