Temple to Host 2026 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship

NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Temple University will host the 2026 BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship Presented by JEEP.

The tournament will take place at Howarth Field from November 6-8, with the semifinal round taking place on Friday, Nov. 6 BIG EAST Championship match slated for Sunday, November 8.

It marks the third time Howarth Field has hosted the BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship, previously hosting in 2023 and 2016. Temple also hosted Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championships at Geasey Field in 2010, 2008, 2005, 2001, 1998, 1995, 1991 and 1988.

Ticketing, game times, broadcasts and more information will be made available at a later date.

The tournament champion receives the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship.
