Men's Basketball Wins Easy Against Down Under Bandits

The Temple Owls completed their exhibition season undefeated following a
74-53 win over the Down Under Bandits tonight at The Forum at The Apollo
of Temple. Lynn Greer led the way for the Owls with 18 points.
Temple led from start to finish and grabbed a double digit lead on a
Greer jumper at 12:49 to give the Owls a 12-2 lead. The Bandits never
closed within single digits again. Greer started in place of Pepe
Sanchez who sat out his second game while resting an ankle injury.
Mark Karcher added 13 points. Ron Rollerson came off the bench to grab a
game-high eight rebounds to go with eight points.
For the Bandits, Damien Roberston had 12 points and former Univ. of Penn
standout Tim Krug added seven points.
The Owls will open the season at home this Sunday, Novermber 21 at 2:00
p.m. when they host Miami of Ohio.
