Field Hockey Players Named To NFHCA Academic Squad

PHILADELPHIA (December 16) -- Temple Owl field hockey players Jessica Grisafi and Kacy

Ziomek were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association

National Division I Academic Squad.

Grisafi, a native of Lancaster, Pa. played in all 20 games for the Owls

in 1999 and started 11 contests. An art major, Grisafi scored Temple's

only goal vs. No. 8 Old Dominion.

Ziomek started all 20 games this season and had a goal and three

assists. A junior from Sweet Valley, Pa., Ziomek is undeclared in her

major.

The Owls under Head Coach Lauren Fuchs finished the season 7-13 overall

and in second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
