Owls Fall to Northwestern, 2-0

Philadelphia, (Sept. 19) -- The Owls (1-4) were unable to capitalize on any of their
14 shots on goal, falling to Northwestern 2-0 today at Geasey Field.
The Wildcats' Amy Haase scored the first goal with 10:14 to go in the
first period. She then assisted on the second goal by Lisa Comrie at
20:18 of the second period.
For Temple, nine different Owls attempted 14 shots on goal but were
stymied by goalie Jess Yates. Temple goalie Serene McGrath had five
saves.
The Owls will host top ranked Penn State on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 3:30 pm
at Geasey Field.
