Two Area Schools to Play at the Apollo of Temple Before the Temple-Duquesne Game

PHILADELPHIA -- As part of the pre-game festivities for the

Temple-Duquesne men's basketball game, Widener Memorial School and E.S.

Miller School will play a preliminary game at The Apollo of Temple

Saturday, January 29. The game will start at 11:00 am.

Widener Memorial School accommodates students with physical and medical

challenges. The school provides a variety of academic and therapeutic

programs to allow students to reach their full potential.

E.S. Miller School offers support to students in grades five through 12

through a behavior modification program. Their goal is to prepare

youths for return to a regular setting while continuing their education.

In addition to visiting The Apollo of Temple, two talented Widener

students have been selected to sing the National Anthem before the

Temple game.
