Dervinis Named Atlantic 10 Conference Field Hockey Rookie of the Week for the Second Time this Season

PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 25) - Temple's Haley Dervinis was named the Atlantic 10
Conference Field Hockey rookie of the week for the second time this season, it
was announced on Monday.
A freshman midfielder, Dervinis had the game winning assist in overtime to
beat West Chester, 1-0, on Saturday. She also recorded three interceptions in
the game. Dervinis, a stick stop on offensive corners, recorded two stops on
offensive corners and created several scoring opportunities against Rutgers on
Wednesday, Oct. 18.
Dervinis, a native of Larksville, Pa., graduated from Wyoming Valley West High
School and is a starter for the Owls.
