NORFOLK, VA - The top-ranked Old Dominion field hockey team
posted a 9-1 victory over Temple Sunday afternoon, October 29 in the last regular
season game at Foreman Field on the campus of the Old Dominion
University. With the win, Old Dominion improves to 19-1 overall (5-0
CAA) while Temple falls to 10-10 overall (4-1 Atlantic- 10).
Honda Award hopeful Marina DiGiacomo (Mendoza, Argentina) netted
three goals and an assist, becoming the NCAA's all-time point leader
with 376 total points. On the season, DiGiacomo has 47 goals and 19
assists. Sophomore forward Tiffany Snow (Escondido, Calif.)
contributed a hat trick for the winners.
